ML Draw is a tool for making quick but accurate sketches. It can be used (for example) for sketching building layouts, floor plans, wiring diagrams, road diagrams on a Palm computer. It is important to note that ML Draw (in common with most Palm applications) is not intended to be used as a desktop drawing program would be used. If you try to use it as a CAD program you will be disappointed. As with almost all Palm software, it is intended for a quick few minutes access a few times a day and not for lengthy editing sessions. The problem with a freehand sketching program on a Palm is that it is almost impossible to draw a straight line or a reasonable arc or circle with any kind of accuracy. On the other hand, a desktop graphics program is far too comprehensive to squeeze on to the tiny Palm screen and in any case would be much too cumbersome to use on the move. ML Draw aims to fill the gap with a program that is nearly as simple as the freehand program while offering the precision of a desktop drawing package. The installation zip file contains installation programs for the Palm program (with sample drawing), a conduit and a Windows Help file. The conduit converts drawings into Windows Bitmap, Standard Metafile, and Enhanced Metafile formats.
