I think some of the other posts here are from people who expected more than the software was created to do. It is a software for mastering and processing stereo or mono audio- nothing more . It does this job better than anything else I've used, and offers far more than anything in it's price range. It is not a karaoke machine or a multi-track recorder. It processes audio quite well. I have mastered several albums on it. If you want to put an entire CD together, you want CD architect. I actually mix down directly to the software from my multi-track recorder and then process and edit from there. It is very solid. It's the right tool for the right job". I don't care for Karaoke, so I might not have noticed, but no it will not remove vocals. No software can do that well and keep the other tracks sounding good.
